They’ve recently experienced rapid growth and are adding to their production team.

The Production Supervisoris critical in driving operational excellence and and profitability throughout plant operations.

The position is responsible for managing groups of employees in a department, planning for production requirements, maintaining production goals, implementing manufacturing processes and continuous improvement initiatives; ensuring safety requirements are met and maintained as well as overseeing departmental inventory levels.

The ideal candidate is a team player, focused on people development and performance of the operation.

RESPONSIBILITIES:In charge of all production, personnel, quality and safety requirements on the shiftProvide leadership to all supervisors and employees on the shiftEstablish methods to meet work schedules and coordinate work activities of the plantBuild to schedule, at optimum equipment efficiencies for all production requirementsEnsure that Management is informed daily about quality, quantity, personnel, safety and any other issues that require immediate attentionTrain and evaluate employees in job duties, safety procedures and company policiesInvestigate and deal with personnel issues.

Administer progressive disciplinary action when necessaryMaintain a safe working environment and ensure all safety rules are followedPerform troubleshooting of machines and related equipmentResolve production errors and disputesRequisition or request materials and suppliesPrepare production and other reports where requiredAttend and contribute to production meetingsAssist maintenance from an administrative and technical perspective.

Interact with maintenance to facilitate effective P.M.
