Together, we equip and empower possibility through approaches that are locally initiated, sustainable and permanent with a focus on clean water, food security and livelihoods.Our small and nimble team is currently in search of a new Program Manager – someone compelled by compassion, inspired by the potential of people, and motivated by the opportunity to be part of a life-trajectory changing program for people in pursuit of a better future.  About the Position We are in the process of launching a Global Affairs Canada-funded project in the Philippines and Guatemala. We will be working in coordination with two well-established overseas partners to obtain land rights for indigenous populations and help enhance their agricultural and livelihood methods and activities.  Reporting to the Overseas Program Director and working in collaboration with a small team of fellow managers, this is a key liaison role in which your goal will be to ensure the successful implementation of our project initiatives and the Global Affairs Canada (GAC) agreement.  You will be accountable for building strong relationships with partners and managing multiple levels of detail to deploy project plans, monitor program implementation and related reporting requirements, and ensure compliance to policies at all times.  Here’s some of what you’ll be doing: * Managing regular communication with local implementing partners to foster strong relationships, articulate program goals, and track program process * Ensuring local partners adhere the project agreement* Ensuring all expenditures are being spent to plan, under HOPE’s direction and in line with GAC expectations  * Reviewing financial reporting and analyzing financial data within Excel to ensure alignment with project scope * Tracking and documenting communications with local partners * Preparing, strategically writing, and submitting accurate reports (quarterly, biannually) to Global Affairs Canada * Acting as a representative of HOPE to Global Affairs Canada  This role will require, above all, a people-first approach. You choose to do this work because at the end of the day, what you care most about is helping people.  To succeed you’ll also need to be a big-picture thinker – able to translate beneficiary needs and HOPE’s theory of change into details that work within the project’s specific scope and demands. You’ll need to be an excellent communicator and have strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills.
