Match Retail is seeking an Area Sales Manager for our client, Nespresso to ensure that the sales assist team delivers operational effectiveness and efficiency, supports our brands, and meets business goals.

The Area Sales Manager will lead by example and always create an environment where team members feel valued, can grow, and function well as a team.

This position is a full-time contractual position starting February 15th 2021 ( changed to March 1st ) until January 31, 2022 with a working schedule of Wednesday Sunday.

You will be covering the Greater Vancouver and surrounding area, Nanaimo, Chilliwack, Abbotsford, and Fort St.

John (remote management).Responsibilities Responsible for achieving all key business objectives including sales, reviews, client experience, operational compliance and responsible for creating strategies for underperforming location.Ensures overall accountability for all productivity KPI’sDevelops quarterly, monthly, and weekly tactical business plans to exceed all key objectives within assigned areaEnsures for target setting (actual vs.

plan)Directs course of action or any re-directionLiaisons with the training, merchandising, and the field support team to ensure processes, communications, and procedures are executed while providing feedback to improve program and executionMonitors recruiting practices to ensure alignment with brand strategyMonitors the reviews of customer and employee experiencesDelivers and communicates the sales incentive and compensation strategiesEnsures operational excellence of sales assist team and retail employeesAligns with the strategic direction of the program’s and organization’s training and developmentCoaches, trains and develops the retail field team (between 15-20 sales associates).Builds and promotes a culture of customer experience excellence throughout the teamProfessional Skills and RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Business and/or diploma in retail sales related field preferredMinimum 5-8 years in retail services3-5 years in retail operations management with emphasis in coaching and leadershipSolid business and financial acumenDemonstrates ability to build professional relationships with diverse groups of internal and external stakeholders and a background in managing a portfolio of high valued customersStrong analytical and problem solving skillsDetail orientedWilling to travel 40% to 60% of the time, with weekend availability neededComprehensive understanding of risk and controlsMust possess a valid driver license and access to a car and be willing to travel across the Vancouver Mainland territory.Details of the position:Full time, contractual position from February 15th 2021 ( changed to March 1st ) until January 31, 2022, Working schedule is Wednesday Sunday (9am-5pm).
