All this in a pleasant and stable work environment.Job DescriptionThe role of the Inside Sales Representative is to provide first class support to their customers in Atlantic Canada at their office in Halifax (Bedford), both on a technical and commercial level.

Each Inside Sales Representative is assigned a specific clientele in order to know his or her customers well.

You must be able to demonstrate a good knowledge of the subject matter and have good interpersonal skills.

The Inside Sales Representatives are considered important technical resources in the eyes of customers.

The candidate will report directly to the Inside Sales Team Leader and work closely with the Outside Sales Representatives and customers.

The Inside Sales Representative will follow procedures and work instructions and represent the company in providing quality and reliable service to our customers.

Duties and responsibilitiesEstablish customer needsMake quotations for conventional productsFollow up on quotes delegated by the external representativeProvide technical and commercial support to customersKeep up to date on products and services offered by the companyEnter customer ordersFollow-up on ordersMake purchase orders for conventional products not in stock or at special prices with suppliers Qualifications: College degree in Electrical Engineering or Building Mechanics or Mechanical Engineering or a technical degree in an appropriate discipline with appropriate experienceMinimum 2 years’ experience in a similar roleExperience in sales and valve selectionExperience and desire to serve customers.Good knowledge of the Office suite.Results-oriented and able to manage a variable workloadGood oral, written and interpersonal communication skillsExcellent organizational and teamwork skills
