Marketing Director

Men At Work Design Build Ltd.

This is a Contract position in New Glasgow, ia posted July 9, 2021.

Position Summary Reporting directly to Senior Management, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of marketing for our industry-leading design build home renovation company.

We are looking for a Director that is both creative and strategic, an excellent communicator, and has proven experience building and managing brands.

The successful candidate will have strong creative instincts, great team-building abilities and be an expert in lead cultivation and conversion.

You will shape and implement a brand refresh and dynamic, multi-faceted marketing plan.

Responsibilities Advise and report to Senior Management on all marketing matters.

Produce and maintain a marketing plan with a detailed tracking system in place to monitor the success and effectiveness of different marketing investments.

As much as possible, personally undertake creative and technical work required for various marketing projects, and be responsible for procuring and negotiating with external sources, providers, agencies and recruiting other internal personnel as required to achieve strategic objectives within the established marketing budget.

Continuously monitor marketing performance and make recommendations to Senior Management on how to most effectively achieve business goals.

Routinely gather and assess data from past marketing and sales results, and from broader market, competition and consumer trends research.

Study and implement industry specific marketing best-practices.

Provide regular updates and reports on leads and conversion rates and various useful statistics to help management make informed business decisions about markets, personnel, project types etc.

Update and monitor website content, graphics, social media posts and other marketing content as needed.

Manage and oversee internal marketing initiatives that promote employee engagement and strong company values.

Requirements Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or equivalent in a field of study related to the job.

5 years of related work experience in marketing, brand management, and digital marketing.

Skills Superior problem solving and influencing skills with the ability to positively persuade others.

Strong creative judgement.

Competent communicator, both written and oral, including spelling, grammar, punctuation, and proofreading.

Experience with social media management/digital marketing and SEO.

Experience developing written and compelling content.

Experience managing, implementing, and working with CRM, CMS, marketing automation platforms and website analytic tools.

Comfortable monitoring, reviewing and interpreting numbers, financials, and data.

Up to date with the latest trends and best practices in brand development and marketing.

High attention to detail.

High degree of resourcefulness and flexibility.
