Eaton is seeking a Lean Coordinator for its Milton Plant.

The Lean Coordinator position will be located in Milton, Ontario, Canada.Position OverviewReporting directly to the Continuous Improvement (CI) Manager, this position will be responsible for improving organizational effectiveness through use of Eaton Lean Six Sigma (ELSS) activities.Making what matters work at Eaton takes the passion of every employee around the world.

Participate in activities to improve Manufacturing/Business processes in management, the front office, and on the shop floor.

Lead and facilitate ELSS Value Steam Mapping (VSM), 5S+ and Standard Work events, structured problem-solving events, Kaizen Events/RIEs/BPIs, leveraging other Lean tools as needed.

Champion the Find-It Fix-It process including support of all areas in the plant in capturing improvements and monitoring progress.

Mentor other employees in the identification and elimination of waste, including training.

Serve as Lean Tool Subject Matter Expert (SME).

Provide expertise and support to other areas in the Lean tools.

Support the deployment of corporate driven ELSS initiatives, including PBA.

Lead activities to achieve a reduction in the elements of Cost of Non-Conformance warranty, scrap, rework, reactive maintenance, premium freight and excess & obsolete inventory.

Closely work with other employees to support them in achieving the goals and expectations when applicable.

Basic Qualifications College diploma or university degree from an accredited institution.

Training and/or experience using continuous improvement methods, approaches and tools.

Experience with Lean Manufacturing methodology.

Experience in a fabrication/assembly environment.

Must be legally eligible to work in Canada without company sponsorship.

No relocation provided.

Candidates must reside within 80 km of Milton, ON to be considered.

Preferred Qualifications University degree in business, manufacturing or engineering from an accredited institution.

Experience with Six Sigma; Six Sigma Green or Black belt.

Experience with project management.

Position Criteria Demonstrated proficiency with PC and related software, including MS Office Suite.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Strong interpersonal and planning skills with proven ability to lead change through both direct and indirect (influencing) abilities.
