She/He develops a fantastic Customer experience and will have a significant effect upon the profitability of the company, its operational effectiveness, and the success of the individual projects works. She/He is knowledgeable in all aspects of the company and uses this to manage her/his varied roles.The Business Development individual will carry out the essential functions and responsibilities as listed below in a consistent manner, accurately, timely and efficiently for the company. Responsibilities* Making outgoing calls and book face-to-face/virtual meetings* Identify sales prospects including doing research, cold calls to warm leads, develop leads, build relationships, close orders and develop accounts in a consultative sale process;* Develop new business through prospecting and activity-based calling and emailing while maintaining the professional tone and image of Aqua Fast Flush* Researching new opportunities through newsletters, city websites, Google searches, etc.;* Doing constant follow-ups with prospective clients;* Report call productivity daily;* Maintaining a list of potential leads* Accurately logging client information* Sending emails with promotional content to key prospects;* Brainstorming creative and effective sales approaches;* Building relationships with qualified prospects;* Effective communicator, sending clear, concise and consistent messages, both verbally and in writing.* Possess proficiency in program and environmental regulatory knowledge and demonstrate this expertise when working with teams throughout the operations* Excellent ownership, and solid leadership engagement skills* Provide strategic environmental support and regulatory review for future business growth and expansion* With continual scaling of organization, will grow to manage a team to successfully support business needsCharacteristics of the Business developer must includeOrganized:As the business developer, she/he must have the ability to multi-task and stay focused in high pressure situations. The individual will be highly organized and possess excellent time management skills. This individual will have excellent written and oral communication and will always be ‘thinking ahead.’Leadership:The Business Development individual must possess the ability to drive forward priorities and stay focused. S/He must possess the ability to motivate, lead, coach and work with Co-Workers and Clients.Independent:She/He must have the skills required to work with a small team and also individually. Independent judgment is required to plan, prioritize, and organize diversified workload.Interaction with Customers:Efficient and effective communication skills (verbal and written) are required while interacting with Customers and co-workers. Professional demeanor on the phone, in person, and via email is essential.
