Maintenance Scheduler

St. Lawrence Seaway

This is a Contract position in St Catharines, ON posted November 14, 2020.

Location: St.

Catharines Province: Ontario (CA-ON) Assignment : Temporary Role The Maintenance Scheduler is responsible to provide maintenance scheduling support and capacity planning in the execution of preventative and predictive maintenance programs and schedules.

– Coordinate the scheduling of preventive maintenance activities & resources according to plans
– Ensure the availability of approved work order materials, parts and equipment.

– Collect and report on planning and scheduling data.

– Oversee the creation of and follow through on work orders.

– Support the development of the winter works maintenance schedules.

– Assist in the development of solutions to maintenance delays and cost overruns.

– Communicate with relevant departments and suggest improvements to maintenance procsses and regulations.

– Proficiency in applicable computer applications, tools and related office software (Microsoft Office, SAP, etc.) Experience and knowledge
– Minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of related technical work experience, and training in resource scheduling and maintenance trades.

– Advanced knowledge of CMMS Project Management functionality.

– Knowledge of the applicable procedures, rules,standards and safe work practices with respect to performing duties.

– High School Diploma and Post-Secondary Studies in a related field Certifications
– Valid Class G (ON) or Class 5 (QC) driver’s license and insurable driving record Projected start date: December 7th, 2020 Hours of work: 37.5 per week Salary range:$CAN31.71/hour (min) to $CAN34.28/hour (max) Dedicated to the principles of employment equity.
