Paralegal / Legal Assistants – MONTREAL – 37.5 hour work week

Notary and Lawyer office

This is a Contract position in Montreal, QC posted November 12, 2020.

NEAR METRO & FREE PARKING AVAILABLE We are seeking 2 Paralegals / Legal Assistants who are fluently bilingual in English & French (written & oral) organized and meticulous.

The successful hires shall be solution oriented, quick to resolve any issues, organized, meticulous and have a strong tolerance to a fast-paced work environment and at times, stressful situations.

One of the 2 positions consists in supporting a notary and managing client relationships and real estate transactions.

The other available position is to support a Corporate Lawyer in maintaining the hard copy and electronic filing system, Secretarial and administrative duties (i.e.

Label, Certifications, maintaining office registries), etc.

Requirements:
– Excellent English and French
– written and spoken
– Strong customer service skills, people-oriented
– Flexibility to work with changing priorities
– Ability to meet strict deadlines
– Excellent attention to detail and diligent proofreading, ability to check typed material for grammatical, typographical, spelling, word usage, and format errors etc.

– Proficient in Microsoft Word, an asset to know Trello and Pro-Notaire
– Fast and accurate keyboard skills
– Strong organizational and time management skills
– Ability to work independently, follows instructions and take initiative
– Strong work ethic and professional integrity Salary starts at $23 / hour or more as experience shall be considered.
