Here’s an opportunity not to be missed Our business partner, a boutique firm, is looking for an experienced legal assistant in litigation to support a team of seasoned professionals.

Located in downtown Montreal, the employer we represent offers good working conditions as well as a dynamic and friendly atmosphere YOUR ROLE As a Litigation Legal Assistant, you will support two lawyers in their practice in litigation.

Your main duties will include: Drafting, reviewing and following up on correspondence; Preparing and drafting various legal documents and procedures; Manage and follow up on the deadlines set out in the Code of Civil Procedure; Organize and maintain the agenda; Prepare client files (correspondence, supporting documents, etc.); Opening, paper and electronic filing, follow-up and organization of files; Manage routine invoicing operations.

REQUIREMENTS Diploma of Vocational Studies (DVS) in secretarial work with a legal profile or any other combination of relevant education/experience; Excellent mastery of the French language, oral and written; Knowledge of the English language is an asset; Good knowledge of the functions of the Microsoft Office Suite; Organizational skills and good management of priorities.
