With the right combination of vision, drive, and talent, there are few things you can’t achieve.At Sparkrock (https://www.sparkrock.com/) , we’ve achieved something great: a company that makes a difference in the world, while focusing on clients, employees, and growth.Sparkrock provides enterprise software (ERP) that includes finance, workforce management, payroll and employee scheduling built for not-for-profit organizations, health and human services, and educational institutions. Every day nearly 45,000 people use our ERP & CRM technology to make the world a better place. We’re looking for a new Application Consultant (HR and Payroll) to join us during an exciting phase in our growth.    Application Consultant (HR and Payroll):In this role, you’ll provide human resources and payroll solution consulting services to clients using our Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central solutions.You’ll engage with our clients regularly in a professional manner to understand their needs and consult with them on our solutions and offerings. You’ll also contribute to product direction by sharing ideas, strategies, and processes that’ll help build solution advancements to further benefit our clients.Practically speaking, you will:* Participate in key areas of the project including diagnostics, proof of concept, analysis, specification documentation, training, and software configuration* Provide consulting services and advise clients on solution best practices for successful implementation* Support and collaborate with the project managers and other colleagues to move software implementations forward* Create functional and training documents for clients as per the statement of work* Assist with analysis workshops with clients to define business, process, and functional requirements as well as data element requirements* Use the information gathered in analysis workshops to configure systems to meet client needs* Troubleshoot software and implementation issues and provide workaround and functional implementation guidance as needed, completing support cases for clients with quick turnaround* Gather business, process, and integration requirements from clients for successful implementations and data transfers, and support clients in preparing, documenting, and testing scenariosYou’ll be a perfect fit for this role if you are:* An excellent communicator – you always get your message across clearly and effectively to colleagues and clients, whether through a professional email or casual conversation.* A curious learner – you seek out opportunities to learn and explore. You take the time to advance your knowledge to ensure you can support your team and clients by being at the top of your game.* Organized – you’re detail-oriented, disciplined in managing competing priorities and timelines, and you can follow through on deadlines without sacrificing quality.   * Collaborative – you enjoy working with people in other departments, and you have a natural ability to lead and manage others.* Resourceful – you’re flexible, proactive, and able to find creative solutions to problems as they arise. You’ll find you’re doing your best work – driven by genuine care for our customers, employees, and business – it’s easy to care about helping people who are making a difference!Qualifications: * 5+ years of experience as an application consultant, HRIS consultant, HR or payroll software implementation specialist, or similar software consulting role, engaging directly with clients for software implementations* Experience with payroll and/or human resources software implementation* Experience with Microsoft versions of Dynamics NAV, 365, and Cloud SaaS implementation* Advanced proficiency with MS Office (Project, OneNote, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint, etc.)* Experience with system and user acceptance testing* Post-secondary degree or diploma in any related field* Microsoft certification on any relevant solutions (e.g., Dynamics) (an asset)* Any of the following certifications would be an asset: CPC, CPM, CHRL, or CHRP* Valid Ontario G class driver’s license (plus access to a reliable vehicle preferred)* Experience working in the education, non-profit, or public sector industry (an asset)How to Apply:Our online application will give you the option to apply to this role as a complete person – not just a resume.
