Keeps good sterilization records as per CPSO and other regulatory standards as applicable.

Maintain a good log of sterilizer maintenance and servicing.

Ensures both soiled and clean areas are always kept tidy, neat, and separate.You Will Have The Opportunity To:Scope Cleaning and SterilizationDemonstrate proper antiseptic techniques in manual and mechanical proceduresEnsure that sterilization room equipment is functioning properly at all times, detects, reports, and initiates repairs/replacement of equipment as requiredClean and sterilize equipment and the Unit dailyAssist with autoclaving of surgical equipment from operating and consulting roomsFollow IPAC guidelines concerning QA in Sterilization Unit, adheres to Clinical Office sanitary policies and procedures, and infection control guidelines as per IPAC standards Perform minor repairs to equipment Responsible for proper storage of all equipment and supplies Maintain a log for all test results.
