What will your typical day look like?

Deloitte Omnia, Deloitte’s Artificial Intelligence practice is comprised of specialized experts with hands-on experience, and cutting-edge information assets that facilitate successful Artificial Intelligence (AI) transformations.

We develop AI-enabled solutions to address all aspects of a client’s transformative journey with disciplined focus on business outcomes.

Our Data & Analytics Modernization team helps clients design and implement the data platform architectures
– be it in the cloud or on-premise
– required to enable cutting-edge AI solutions.

You will be part of a practice to deliver a breadth of solutions to solve our clients most challenging business problems, with a focus on Big Data, BI/DW, Data Integration, Data Governance, Master Data and Analytics applications.

Each of these applications leverages a different mix of traditional and innovative technologies to achieve business outcomes.

About the team As a Consultant / Senior Consultant in our Life Sciences and Healthcare Practice, you will specialize in Health Informatics, contributing to a portfolio of Deloitte’s Omnia AI Data Analytics and Modernization projects.

The role includes working collaboratively within a team to support health data modernization efforts in the public and private sector, leading and enabling transformational projects in health data architecture, presenting innovative approaches to deliver results, and developing recommendations, proposals and presentations for client engagements.

In this role, you will
– Offer expertise in Artificial Intelligence and Data/Analytics Modernization Contribute knowledge of foundational capabilities required to enable AI such as proper data governance and management Provide awareness of disruptive trends and industry activity to advise clients on their AI Strategy Support health data modernization efforts in the public and private sectors, including cloud data transformation and data strategies as well as claims modernization Lead streams for the delivery of health data architecture engagements, leveraging your strong expertise in data management, data modeling and analytics integration Enough about us, let’s talk about you You are someone with: Understanding of Health Interoperability Standards (e.g.

HL7, FIHR) Experience with SQL and other database programming languages Strong senior/executive stakeholder management skills, including strong emotional intelligence and ability to relate to a variety of personality types Completed Undergraduate degree in a Health Informatics or related field; Master’s or PhD degrees and any recognized professional certifications would be an asset Demonstrated affinity with technology and interest in the topic of data, AI or advanced analytics as business enablers 4-6 years in industry or consulting experience in a technical role with a reputable Professional Services, Consulting or Advisory Firms and/or other organizations (including start-ups) Overall understanding of health information management in healthcare and life sciences organizations (e.g.

clinical, pharmaceutical, public health/government, retail pharmacies) Ability to interpret and develop data models encompassing clinical and non-clinical data Understanding of end to end processes and processes for data collection, integration, storage, interoperability, management, and consumption; familiarity with data management tools preferred.
