More than just a retailer, SSENSE is becoming a cultural protagonist in its own right.Job DescriptionSSENSE is looking for a Desktop Support Technician to join our IT team and assist with the day-to-day technical support of our rapidly growing workforce.

He/She will provide a proactive approach to IT support by seeking and identifying potential issues before they manifest as a bigger problem, with an emphasis on reducing user impact and maximizing satisfaction.

The ideal candidate is passionate about technology, has strong troubleshooting skills and is capable of communicating tech information to non-tech individuals.Provide Tier 2 desktop technical support for Mac workstations (primarily) and some support of Windows workstations, desktop applications, enterprise applications, and an array of general IT related issues and requestsProvide technical assistance for all of our end users, including 700+ Mac computers, 450+ Windows computers, and 370+ iOS devices across 3 locationsTroubleshoot hardware issues and service computer peripherals such as enterprise printers, docking stations, monitors, hard disks, etc.Support software and license installationConfigure, deploy, and troubleshoot a combination of Mac and Windows based desktops and laptopsConfigure printers, phones, wireless devices, tablets, etc.

Investigate and resolve desktop-related IT security incidentsRequirementsQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a relevant field, an assetHands-on experience with IT Service Desk software and processesA minimum of 1 year experience in a Mac desktop support role, preferably in an enterprise environmentAbility to prioritize and support technology requests based on fluid business demandsStrong knowledge of Mac operating systems, deployments, applications and troubleshooting issuesExperience with Windows operating systems, deployments, applications and troubleshooting issuesGeneral understanding of networking fundamentals, such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Firewalls, Wireless Access Points and other networking equipmentExcellent spoken and written communication skills in both English and French SkillsExceptional problem-solving and communication skillsCustomer-orientedAdvanced troubleshooting and multi-tasking skillsAbility to communicate technical information to a wide range of end-usersAdditional InformationWORLD CLASS TECHNOLOGY Technology is at the core of everything we do at SSENSE.
