Legal Administrative Assistant Valsoft is looking for a Legal Administrative Assistant with a strong work ethic and a positive attitude to join our Legal Department and assist our team in a variety of areas of law (eg: insurance, compliance, contracts, intellectual property and technology, transactions, governance).Responsibilities Preparation and review of documents in relation to acquisitions.

Providing accurate, organized, efficient and effective administrative support (e.G.

word processing, prepare various spreadsheets and power point presentations, collect and track data, research information, schedule/organize meetings, manage calendars, create and maintain electronic legal files, etc.).

Maintain and coordinate efficient flow of documents; Ensure follow-up on status of action items/projects; Provide accurate word-processing support by composing and/or editing a variety of documents, including highly confidential correspondence, memoranda and contracts; Respond promptly and thoroughly to requests for information.

Take initiative to identify and recommend improvements in own job functions as well as processes within the legal Department.

Other duties as assigned and identified to support the broader work of the legal Department.Requirements 2+ years of Legal Assistant experience.

Organized, with high attention to detail and accuracy when completing tasks.

Proactive approach to your work with the ability to co-ordinate multiple tasks with a high level of initiative and ability to work well with minimum direction and/or supervision.

Ability to work within tight timelines, reassessing priorities as needed.

Demonstrated ability to work as a team player, providing highest levels of customer service in a professional and courteous manner.

Autonomy, initiative and speed of execution Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written, in English and in French), including exemplary proofreading and grammar skills.What You Need To Succeed Excellent priority management and good planning and organizational skills; Ability to meet deadlines.
