Capital Markets Business Systems Analyst to work with Big Data tools on a Liquidity Risk project within the financial industry
– 21022 Location Address: WFH (Downtown Toronto) Contract Duration: 6 months high chance of extension Schedule Hours: 9am-5pm Project: The Liquidity Risk group have started building a new application called the Dynamic Liquidity Scenario Builder.

This application is built for liquidity interest rate group and essentially calculates liquidity data that can be stressed by various impacted by market conditions.

Liquid assets and supplying information internal and external decisions is driving this because of COVID.

The group anticipates the project to take upwards of 1 year and require SME Business Analysis to join in the requirements gathering and building of workflow.

Candidate Value Proposition The successful candidate will have an opportunity to work closely with senior developers to understand multiple languages in various departments.

Typical Day in the role: Will be partnering with business line, 80 % of the time
– will liaising with technical team on periodic bases Will be sitting with the business to holding hands through the gather requirements process Must Have: 8 years’ Capital Markets experience is required (to understand data and how products work and how to extract) 2 years’ experience working with big data tools to help analyze information as it is fed through various channels
– Strong technical acumen Strong documentation skills, using agile methodology Nice to have: Spark, Nifi technology understanding is a big plus, and will be prioritized
– do not need to use the application Certifications: Any certification in risk background
– or CPA or business background would be a nice to have (something within financial) Degree :
