One of our major banking clients is looking for a Banking Office Clerk (File Management, Inventory, Mail Room) Length: Contract term is 3 months with a strong possibility of extension Location: Toronto, ON Hours: Monday to Friday; 7am-3pm LOB: Technology and Operations ROLE MANDATE: The main functions include sorting incoming mail, tracking returned credit cards, destroying credit cards, and scanning the sorted mail.

May also include data input.

Act as an information and communication distributor for an office.

– Instruct staff on proper communication protocol with customers, employees, and other individuals to answer questions,
– disseminate or explain information, and address complaints.

– Assign staff to compile, copy, sort, and file records of office activities, business transactions and other activities.

– Review and proofread data and other information, such as records or reports.

– Supervise the maintenance of files, inventory, mailing, and database systems.

– Perform other duties as assigned MUST HAVE Skills and Competencies:.

– Verbal and written communication skills, multi-tasking, customer service skills and interpersonal skills.

– Strong ability to work independently and manage one’s time.

– Strong ability to keep information organized and confidential.

– Strong leadership and mentoring skills necessary to provide support and constructive performance feedback preferred.

– Previous experience with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint Major EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
– High School Diploma or equivalent required.
